Benjamin DeMarais is a journalist, editor, and digital creative based in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University, with minors in Apparel, Merchandising, and Design; Applied Artificial Intelligence; and Fashion, Culture, History, and Social Justice.

As editor at the Iowa State Daily, he led the publication to national recognition, earning the Columbia Scholastic Press Association's Digital News Gold Crown Award for the 2023–24 academic year . He was also a 2024–25 Dotdash Meredith Apprentice at Real Simple, and has contributed to projects and publications at Dotdash Meredith, the National Peace Corps Association, WorldView Magazine and more.
